The Jacques Voice Communication System uses voice-over-IP (VOIP), leading edge technology to create a fully digital, professional networked intercommunication and Public Address system with control and monitoring functions. The Jacques intercom and PA systems are manufactured in Australia, and are suitable for any application where high quality voice communication is required. The various applications where Jacques equipment has been used include the following:

• prisons, juvenile justice centres, police stations, and court houses. Over 40 prisons have been installed with Jacques cell call equipment  which is designed specifically for use in secure areas where vandal proof equipment is required.
• hospitals where hands free loudspeaking solutions are required.
• help point systems in public spaces such as parklands, car parks, malls, and other locations where public safety is an issue.
• shopping centres where point to point communication is required and Public Address features are an additional benefit.
• schools and university campuses require integrated solutions due to their size and complexity, where systems include intercom, public address, help points, and CCTV.
• railway networks use Jacques Long Line Public Address solution to provide background music, local and remote PA features, emergency warning, and automatic PA volume control via ambient noise monitors. The system may also be used for security on trains themselves and in conjunction with CCTV.

Jacques systems comprise a mix of master stations and stainless steel slave stations designed for rugged use, help point units with or without information feature, and intercom with direct dialling to remote PABX, using commercially available Ethernet network standards and TCP/IP protocols. The Jacques Public Address system  is extremely flexible and expandable and integrates into existing Building and Security Management systems. PA zones can be monitored and an unlimited number of pre-recorded messages may be time scheduled to play in any/all PA zones.
